ABC 7 Chicago
Steve Dolinsky is the Food Reporter for ABC 7 News in Chicago, the city’s #1 news station. Every week, he produces four original reports. They might include: how to eat Korean barbeque, where to get Indian mangoes, highlighting the process of making Colombian empanadas, even following produce from the farm to the table.
His “Hungry Hound” reports air four times per week: on Wednesdays and Fridays during the 11 a.m. newscast; also every Friday and Saturday night at 10 p.m. One of his 11 a.m. stories from the week is chosen to repeat on the station’s 6 a.m. newscast every Sunday. In 2006, his work on ABC garnered the James Beard Award for Best TV Food Segment: National or Local. Click here to see more of Steve’s work on ABC.
