A Trio of Mother’s Day Brunch Options In, Around Chicago

Bacon-wrapped prunes with Armagnac honey, one of the many dishes at Untitled on Mother’s Day.

There’s no better way to let mom know you appreciate her on Mother’s Day than by taking her out to a nice brunch. This year, a few Chicago-area restaurants are making it easy for you to say “thanks,” by offering special brunch menus and a little something extra for moms.

Weber Grill

(locations in River North, Lombard and Schaumburg)

Brunch served until 2 p.m.

The menu will feature specials like an iron skillet hash with beef brisket, smoked pork and peppers, chocolate-cherry pretzel bread French toast and a bourbon-glazed ham benedict. Weber Grill’s lunch and dinner items, including its NY strip, will also be available all day. Kids under 12 can get their own special “brunch plate,” with French toast or scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, tater tots and bacon. You can see the full Mother’s Day menu here. Reservations are recommended, and can be made here.

Untitled

111 W. Kinzie St.

Brunch served 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cost: $40 for adults, $20 for children under 12 (excluding tax and gratuity)

The restaurant will be hosting its second annual Mother’s Day Big Band Brunch, complete with live music by a 16-piece orchestra and a 1940s swing band to transport diners back to another time. Untitled will also be offering a special “farm to table” sharing menu with items like red wine-braised short rib hash, lemon curd ricotta pancakes and smoked Skuna Bay salmon with tarragon creme fraiche. A number of ingredients will come directly from Slagel and Genesis farms in Illinois. You can view the full Mother’s Day brunch menu here. Reservations are required, and can be made by calling Untitled at 312-880- 1511.
