Last-Minute Gifts for Procrastinators and Beer Enthusiasts
Running out of gift ideas for the beer lover in your life? Give them the gift of knowledge. Dusek’s Board and Beer is known for its impressive number of beers on tap, beer-centric cuisine, and knowledgeable, hospitable bar staff. The Pilsen restaurant is taking beer lessons to a new level this January, with a six-night series of classes and tastings with experts from Lagunitas, Solemn Oath, Half Acre, Metropolitan, Moody Tongue, and Virtue Cider expounding on topics like “Hopology,” Culinary Pairing, and “Yeast 101.” Tickets for the six-week Brew U Beer Education Series are $75 and can be purchased here.
If beer classes aren’t your thing, stop by Thalia Hall, the concert venue upstairs, on December 21st, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., and find a last-minute gift among the 20+ local vendors on site. Then stop by Duesk’s with a new, unwrapped toy for their charity toy drive and you’ll score a free Moody Tongue Thalia Hall Czech Pilsner. For more information on Thalia Hall, Dusek’s, or their holiday toy drive, check out Thalia Hall’s website.
