Drinks for July 4th, Summer Cookouts (The Feed Podcast)

Coming up on this week’s show, we’ve got a few great drinking options for July 4th weekend (or any summertime cookout for that matter), as we welcome a few special guests to help us sort through a few scenarios: low alcohol cocktails and juicy red wines that pair well with beef. First, one of Chicago’s top tiki mixologists, Paul McGee (Lost Lake, Milk Room) treats us to a porch pounding, beat-the-heat, summertime low alcohol cocktail.  Then, Craig Perman, owner of Perman Wine Selections in Chicago, joins us to taste rosés and easy-drinking reds, since there will be a fair amount of pork and beef that’s tossed onto backyard grills this weekend.
