Woodland Plantation

The Plantation is not in the city proper, but if you have time, it’s worth renting a car and make the 45 minute drive out. We went here during my NOLA food tour, and it was the highlight of the trip. Ask for owner Foster Creppel, who will send you out on air boats as you glide over the bayou. Then come back for an old fashioned crawfish and crab boil, served out of a canoe. This is how they do it old school. FYI, the plantation is the same one featured on bottles of Southern Comfort.
