A Trio of Mother’s Day Brunch Options In, Around Chicago

There’s no better way to let mom know you appreciate her on Mother’s Day than by taking her out to a nice brunch. This year, a few Chicago-area restaurants are making it easy for you to say “thanks,” by offering special brunch menus and a little something extra for moms.

Brunch served until 2 p.m.
The menu will feature specials like an iron skillet hash with beef brisket, smoked pork and peppers, chocolate-cherry pretzel bread French toast and a bourbon-glazed ham benedict. Weber Grill’s lunch and dinner items, including its NY strip, will also be available all day. Kids under 12 can get their own special “brunch plate,” with French toast or scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, tater tots and bacon. You can see the full Mother’s Day menu here. Cost: $40 for adults, $20 for children under 12 (excluding tax and gratuity)
The restaurant will be hosting its second annual Mother’s Day Big Band Brunch, complete with live music by a 16-piece orchestra and a 1940s swing band to transport diners back to another time. Untitled will also be offering a special “farm to table” sharing menu with items like red wine-braised short rib hash, lemon curd ricotta pancakes and smoked Skuna Bay salmon with tarragon creme fraiche. Pinstripes will be serving a Mother’s Day brunch buffet, which means there will be a little something for everyone. Carved prime rib, a salad bar and build-your-own omelets and waffles will be available, as well as a station for kids with pizza, noodles and chicken fingers. Moms will also receive a flower upon arrival, and can indulge in mimosas and Bloody Marys throughout brunch. Reservations are recommended.
