America’s Premier Pig-stravaganza Returns To Chicago
Strap on your bibs and don’t tell your kosher/Muslim friends. On April 26, Cochon 555 returns to Chicago to celebrate family farms, heritage pig breeds, and today’s emerging chefs. Five Chicago chefs will compete in a one-of-a-kind competition featuring dishes prepared from locally-raised whole heritage pigs. Each chef will prepare a maximum of six dishes in hopes of winning votes from judges and a crowd of gourmands. The winner will go on to compete for the title of King/Queen of Porc at the tour finale in Aspen in June.
Guests can enjoy endless food and drink tastings, panel discussions, the opportunity to win a 4-day Mezcal adventure, and more. Tickets are $125 for general admission and $200 for VIP tickets which give guests early access to food and drinks and a chance to mingle with chefs, judges, and the media.
