Chicago In White Dinner Returns in Aug.

Please mind the glass of red wine.. Chicago’s original white pop-up dinner, Chicago in White, is headed back to town. On August 8, guests will head to Ravinia (200 Ravinia Park Rd.) where they’ll dine on the lawn in a specially reserved section just for the event. While dining under the stars, they’ll be treated to a performance by Chicago jazz legend Ramsey Lewis accompanied by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

“This year, we’re excited to debut a special edition of Chicago in White that not only takes advantage of a venue that is unique to Chicago, but also allows us to give back to the community. By partnering with Ravinia Festival, we’re able to offer a more immersive experience that joins music, food and friends,” said Jen Luby, Co-Founder of Chicago in White.

With tables, chairs and linens provided, guests focus on creating the ultimate white ensemble and gourmet picnic menu. Guests are encouraged to outfit their tables with extravagant china, silverware, glasses, white napkins and other personal touches to create their own al fresco fine dining experience.

This year’s partner is Ravinia’s REACH*TEACH*PLAY program, which serves over 75,000 people each year throughout the Chicago area, ensuring that music education remains accessible to all.

Tickets are $30 per person and includes the admission to the concert as well as tables, chairs and linens and seating begins at 6pm. Tickets can be purchased at ChicagoinWhite2015.eventbrite.com.
