Doing Good by Eating and Drinking Well
Palate and presentation come together at the annual Taste of the Nation Chicago.
One of Chicago’s most anticipated culinary events – The Taste of the Nation – is headed back on Wednesday, August 13th at Navy Pier in the Grand Ballroom (600 E Grand Ave). More than 85 renowned chefs and mixologists from all over Chicago will participate in one of the largest food-focused events in the city, now in its 26th year. All proceeds from the event will go toward the Share Our Strength’s “No Kid Hungry” Campaign, which seeks to end childhood hunger across America. Learn more about the organization here.
Top chefs include Stephanie Izard of Girl & the Goat, Matthew Kirkley of L2O, Doug Psaltis of RPM, Paris Club Bistro, and Bub City, and Fabio Viviani and David Blonsky of Siena Tavern. A full list of participating restaurants and mixologists can be found here. Additionally, there will be live music and a silent auction. The event takes place from 7 to 10 pm for general admission and from 6 t0 10 pm for VIP guests. General admission tickets are $125 while VIP tickets (which includes early access, a preview tour, and access to exclusive VIP areas) are $200.
