Meet Our WingFest VIPs

Two weeks ago, I ran a little contest, asking you to tell me (on video), why you think you deserve to win VIP tickets to the already-sold-out WingFest on February 26th. I’m pleased to say, we have a winner.

Carmen Hernandez and Ryan Detwiler made their case, and now they’ll be able to head to Bailey Auditorium (1340 W. Washington) from 1 to 6 p.m. on the 26th. They’ll get to sample mild, hot, BBQ and Exotic Wings, while WXRT’s very own Lin Brehmer MCs. Tickets are usually $24 for general admission, which includes all the wings you can eat, live music from Cadillac Dave and the Chicago Redhots, a raffle ticket and continuous sponsor giveaways. There are also VIP tickets for $50 which include all of the above plus a drink package, parking pass, goody bag and access to the VIP area.

But this year, organizers offered two of my readers the “Best Seats in the House,” which includes a special, reserved area for two within the VIP area, offering plush seats and a great view of the action. Here’s Carmen and Ryan’s entry, and I really hope they bring the extra Wetnaps. Congrats!
