Top 5 Reasons For Not Posting Today

I have a very good reason, (actually, reasons) for not posting my usual Top 5 list today. The main one is because as you read this, I’m already at O’Hare. But more important, the time and effort it takes to produce the list was just not high enough up on the priority list this week. So, with that said, I’ll be taking the next week or so off, and should be back in force the week of April 2. Not that I need to make excuses, but here they are:

1. Dealing with United, especially in the wake of the merger with Continental

2. Waiting in line at the Chinese Consulate to buy a visa

3. Brushing up on my Mandarin

4. Watching a marathon of “Hero,” “The Last Emperor,” and “Kung Fu Hustle”

5. Emailing/calling Tony Hu about where to find the best Peking Duck in Beijing
