5th Annual Chicago Craft Beer Week on Tap

Though Chicago has no shortage of up-and-coming craft breweries, odds are you can’t hit all of them in the span of 10 days. But thanks to Chicago Craft Beer Week, now you can. The fifth annual beer week, presented by the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild, will take place from May 15th to May 25th throughout the Chicagoland area and will include daily events at the city’s craft brewpubs, breweries and bars. The 10-day celebration, which aims to promote the local craft beer scene, will also feature tap takeovers, beer dinners and pairings at about 300 local venues, including Public House, Blackfinn Ameripub and DryHop Brewers.

Chicago Craft Beer Week 2014 will open with the “Beer Under Glass” event on Thursday, May 15th at Garfield Park Conservatory, with proceeds to benefit the ICBG and the Conservatory. Tickets are available here. And the week’s festivities will close out with the West Loop Craft Beer Fest at the Chicago French Market on Saturday, May 24th (tickets are available online as well).
