Beer of the Week Premiere: What The Hell Is Posca Rustica?

 

Beer lovers are always looking for something wonderful; something jammed with flavor and nuance and maybe even a little spice. They loathe the family gatherings that offer nothing more than mass-marketed Bud or Miller, and as hip as PBR may be, a beer lover would rather drink mead before he/she puts that aluminum can to their lips. In an effort to introduce you, the beer lover, to something fascinating (and frankly, delicious), we’re kicking off a new feature here called “Beer of the Week.”

 

Every Wednesday, we’ll be stopping by Chicago’s Hopleaf – home to a staggering number of beers, including more than 100 from Belgium alone. Every week, owner Michael Roper will introduce us to something notable, and we think, worth your hard-earned beer money. Cheers!
