Lettuce Have A Progressive Dinner in Lincoln Park

Finicky diners, insatiable eaters and gourmet travelers can join in common cause tonight, for a unique progressive dinner. Lettuce Entertain You is marshaling the resources of its Lincoln Park venues, giving guests a chance to have appetizers, main courses and desserts at three different venues. L20, Mon Ami Gabi, and R.J. Grunts are the destinations, each offering something a little bit different, from 6 – 8 p.m.

Michelin-starred L20 will pop a bottle of sparkling wine to kick-start the evening. Bubbly will be paired with a selection of canapés, composed of delightful bites of savory gougères, rosemary croissants, and house-smoked salmon with crème fraîche.

Mon Ami Gabi will be the second stop in the crawl around the park. Fresh Green City Market vegetable crudités with Roquefort cheese dip will be followed by wild halibut with polenta, corn, bacon and chive oil. If that’s too light, opt for a prime steak classique with signature hand-cut fries. The French bistro will also be pouring their namesake pinot noir or a Louis Latour chardonnay.

The final stop is R. J. Grunts, where dessert includes a creamy, hand-dipped milkshake or their noted “cookies in a bowl.”
