Buca Yorkville

Rob Gentile is one of Toronto’s brightest stars. He cooks with vigor and passion and is on the road several times a year, always learning and expanding his repertoire. A night at Buca Yorkville, adjacent to the Four Seasons in the toniest of Toronto’s neighborhoods, is a night to let the kitchen cook for you. By that I mean, reserve a spot at the counter, and put yourself in the chef’s hands. You’ll see feather-soft pastas embedded with the most unctuous seafood, as well as clams and octopus assembled right in front of you, in your own smoking hot stone bowl. Sure, you could just get some pasta and flatbread, like most of the other diners get, but if you’re only in town for one or two nights, get the counter experience. It’s super-close to the Bloor subway station.
